On Saturday morning, the Los Angeles City Fire Department went to their home in response to an emergency call. The response unit was on the scene for 30 minutes before departing without taking anyone to the hospital. It’s believed Nancy Dolman passed away at their house.
Although not yet reported the cause of his death, some media say Dolman had cancer since 2007.
Dolman 58 and Short 60, who met during production of the musical "Godspell" in Toronto in 1972, had been married 30 years and have three children: Katherine 26, Oliver 24 and Henry 21.
The former actress worked in the television series "Soap" in 1981, but dropped out to care for their children in 1985.
For his part, Short, known for his performance in the film "Father of the Bride" and appearances on the television show "Saturday Night Live" is nominated for an Emmy for his role on "Damages."
